Biography

Ashvin Borad is an award-winning still photographer, digital marketing strategist, data science and data mining researcher, online researcher, digital engineer, and film industry professional who began his career in the Indian entertainment industry in 1998. Over the years, he has earned recognition for his significant contributions to entertainment promotion, celebrity branding, digital marketing, and entertainment database management within the Indian film industry.

He was honored with the Best Digital Marketing in IMDb & Wikipedia Contributor award at the Filmfare India International Film Festival (FIIFF) 2026 held at Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai, in recognition of his outstanding work in digital marketing and entertainment database promotion. Earlier in his career, he received his first major recognition with the Best Still Photographer Award in 2013 at the Cine Sagar Award ceremony in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

He is also a distinguished member of the Film Craft Federation (FCF) and the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA). He proudly served as the official photographer and social media handler for IMPPA, one of India's oldest and most prestigious film organizations, established in 1937.

Born in Surat, Ashvin Borad comes from a Gujarati-speaking family and steadily built his identity in the entertainment industry through dedication, creativity, and strong industry connections. Over the years, he established himself as a multifaceted professional, working as a still photographer, producer, executive producer, line producer, social media strategist, entertainment PR professional, digital marketing expert, and data science and data mining specialist. His expertise spans still photography, celebrity promotions, movie public relations (PR), digital branding, entertainment database management, social media marketing, ad film production, hoarding photo shoots, brand promotion campaigns, and digital data analysis. Through his extensive work in mainstream and regional cinema, he has contributed significantly to the promotion and visibility of film personalities, production houses, and entertainment projects while also building a strong digital presence across platforms, including IMDb and Wikipedia
