Kendra Louka

Kendra Louka, a playwright and screenwriter based in Virginia Beach, has self-produced, directed, and written Center Peace, Still, and You. Me. for Zeider's American Dream Theater's Fringe Festival. Her musical, Riding the Bubble Bus, and a full-length play, Departure Lounge, was performed as a stage reading at Zeider's American Dream Theater's Proteus Festival. At the Little Theater of Norfolk, Louka presented her short plays Gardens, Cheers!, Eureka!, The Thing Store, and Sword of Pride. Louka's work explores themes of self-doubt, hyper-independence, and of being stuck through characters who want to be seen.
