Biography

Already performing in front of family and relatives at the age of three, Shaquina Diaz knew that performing was a deep passion for her. Her mother often had her in musicals and performing art programs at a young age. These shows showcased her outstanding and convincing acting skills and strong musical vocals.

Shaquina eventually grew a deep passion for writing where she wrote her own films, showcasing her to be multi-talented. She is the writer and creator of "The Making of Her" and "The Call".

Classically trained, Shaquina has played roles from action and drama, working on professional productions sets such as "The Advocate" where she played a reporter. As well as in an ongoing series with a recurring role in Project Heat Ct.

She is looking forward to working in the industry along side of professionals like Angela Bassett and Taraji Henson who she idolizes. Shaquina looks forward to all the challenges and rewards that come along in her career as a way to gain more knowledge and showcase her talent.
