Driven by a desire to effect positive change in women's health, Mary Alice embarked on a mission to change the world for women's health issues. Collaborating with esteemed celebrity OBGYN Dr. Thais Aliabadi, she co-founded and co-hosts "The SHE MD podcast." Through candid discussions and expert insights, Mary Alice endeavors to empower women to take control of their health and well-being, championing a message of empowerment and advocacy.

In 2025, Mary Alice Haney and Dr. Aliabadi co-founded Ovii.com, now a leading voice in supporting women with PCOS. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome affects 13% of all women and is a leading cause of infertility-yet 74% of those affected don't know they have it. Ovii's mission is to change that story through education, empowerment, and early assessment.

Prior to creating SHEMD and Ovii, Mary Alice was a leading voice in media. She earned her MFA in film studies from the American Film Institute. She was the West Coast editor for GQ, ALLURE, MARIE CLAIRE, and DOMINO magazine laying the groundwork for her impactful contributions to the fashion and entertainment industries. As a familiar face on top-rated shows like "Good Morning America" and "Today," Mary Alice showcased her fashion expertise. She hosted several TV shows including "Ambush Makeover" for Fox and created "Celebrity Closet Confidential" for the Style Network, reaching viewers globally.

In 2013, Mary Alice embarked on a new chapter with the launch of HANEY, a luxury ready-to-wear label based in downtown Los Angeles. With a vision to infuse Hollywood glamour into every garment, she created dresses that exuded red carpet allure while maintaining an essence of ease and relaxation.
