Dr. Rita D. Lewis is an acclaimed actress known for her compelling work across television, film, and stage. Her screen appearances include Hush on AllBlk, HBO's Pause with Sam Jay, Apple TV's Ghosted with Chris Evans, CBS' Homeland, Mercy Road, CNN's 2023 Crime Series, and The Shop - an official selection of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

A powerhouse on stage, Dr. Lewis has starred in numerous theatrical productions, including the critically acclaimed He Creeps (as Barbara), A Family Affair Wedding (as Suzy B), and four additional plays that highlight her emotional depth, sharp comedic timing, and commanding presence. A respected theater reporter noted that Lewis "channels her inner Lucille Ball," bringing both laughter and heartache to life with remarkable ease.

Offstage, she hosts television show, Off the Dais on DKN, where she interviews D.C. Councilmembers to explore their goals, challenges, and achievements beyond the chamber.
