Biography

Callan Green ACS NZCS is a New Zealand-born, award-winning Director of Photography working across feature films and premium television. With over 27 years of experience in the camera department, he is known for a dynamic visual style and a collaborative approach to filmmaking.

He recently completed principal photography on The Beekeeper 2, directed by Timo Tjahjanto and produced by Miramax, starring Jason Statham, Jeremy Irons, Gemma Redgrave, Pom Klementieff, and Adam Copeland. He was also Director of Photography on Universal’s Nobody 2, produced by 87North, and served as lead DP on the upcoming eight-part espionage series P.O.N.I.E.S. for NBCUniversal/Peacock, starring Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson.

Additional television credits include lead DP on Gangs of London - Series 3 (Sky Atlantic/AMC & Pulse Films) and episodes 5-8 of Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen for Netflix/Miramax. Feature experience includes second unit work on Masters of the Air, Fast & Furious 9, and splinter units on Fast X.

Callan is a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) and the New Zealand Cinematographers Society (NZCS), and was awarded New Zealand Cinematographer of the Year (2024) for The Gentlemen. He is based in southwest London and is represented by Worldwide Production Agency (WPA). He holds work visas for the UK, USA, Australia, and New Zealand.
