Jason M. Ramey
Jason M. Ramey, AKA "Rambo," is an actor and stunt performer/choreographer in the greater Kansas City area. Originally from Raytown, Missouri, Ramey draws on a widely-varied wealth of knowledge from sports, martial arts, military, and firefighting and paramedic training throughout his career. He is best known for his recent roles as an actor and co-producer in Indie Feature films The Shutdown (2022) and Vengeful (2023).

Starting out in gymnastics at just 3 years old, Ramey's childhood led him to football, wrestling, martial arts, and even up to professional and competitive dance from ages 12-22. The dance styles include tap, jazz, ballet, with specializing in jazz, break-dancing, and hip hop.

As a young adult, Jason Ramey saw success as a performer and dancer at Worlds of Fun in Mark Wilson's Haunted Theater, Tivoli in 1986. He received a scholarship from Joe Tremaine in LA in 1987. Ramey also worked as a choreographer and exotic dancer from ages 17-22. He was once again recognized with another scholarship to Gus Giordano's Jazz Dance Company in Chicago in 1989.

In 1992, Ramey dove into a new passion for public service, enlisting as United State Air Force Military Police from 1992-1996, and then as a US Army National Guard Combat Medic from 1996-2000. He then went on to join the Children's Mercy Security & Transport team from 1996-1998 and worked as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Raytown Fire Protection District from 1998-2018, to which he then retired.

Jason attended the Community College of the Air Force and also holds a degree in Fire Science. He played semi-pro football in the KC area for the KC Bulldogs and the KC Jazz. Ramey competed in the cage in MMA and even obtained a couple of championship belts. He has always kept his passion for performing and has done numerous small performances in dancing and acting throughout the years.

After retiring as a firefighter/paramedic, Ramey returned to his roots at Worlds of Fun and created his own Haunt character, as well as co-created a short film about this original character, which was honored at the Macabre Film Festival in 2020. He was also chosen for the role of the Ghost of Christmas Future in Worlds of Fun's Winterfest. Jason made his feature film debut in Chuck Brown's Production The Shutdown in 2022, and in 2023 he successfully completed Fire Stunt Training. 2023 was the year he also Co-Produced and Co-Starred in Bobby J. Coleman's feature film Vengeful, in which he showcased his abilities in K9 attack-training.

Jason M. Ramey resides in the Kansas City area and he hopes to launch his own stunt performance and coordination.
