Since 2009, Breezy Films has been in business producing television shows and movies throughout the Chicagoland area. The owner Stacey "Ms. Breezy" Gill, an award-winning filmmaker, has 15+ years experience in the entertainment industry with a Bachelor's in Music Business, two master's in Public Relations and Entertainment Business, and a certificate from NYU in Film/TV Industry Essentials.
Ms. Breezy's first movie, A Part of the Game, released in 2014, received over 1.7 million views on YouTube, followed by her second movie, A Promise that was Broken, being picked up by Prime Video in 2017. Fast forward to 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic had Ms. Breezy stuck in a house for months with nothing to do, but the hustlepreneur inside of her decided to do the inevitable. Ms. Breezy not only published her first Date night & Gift idea book titled, "Ignite Your Love: The Love Challenge for Couples", but also turned that book into a feature film titled, Ignite Your Love, that has won many official selection awards, finalist awards, and overall winner awards for best trailer and movie.
Ms. Breezy continues to provide a platform for talent out of her hometown, Chicago. Her dream is to open up Breezy's Film Studio, which will provide access to independent filmmakers to film their movies, music videos, commercials, TV shows, and more. The studio will host numerous of ready made sets such as a living room, dining room, bedroom, office, kitchen, hospital, funeral home, and more. Breezy's Film Studio will be the hub for all independent filmmakers needs.
