Jared Feuring was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. As he grew up he struggled with becoming morbidly obese, reaching 310lbs+ at the age of 17. In his last year of high school (in 2006) he discovered the television show "The Ultimate Fighter" and dedicated his life to becoming fit and achieving a career as a professional martial artist. He lost more than 150lbs and began training in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu full time in 2007. By late 2008 he started coaching Muay Thai/ Kickboxing and personal training, earning many different educational certifications in the field of fitness (from some of the most recognized organizations such as "Precision Nutrition" and "Agatsu").
He began his competitive amateur martial arts career in 2010, and transitioned to professional MMA in 2017.
In 2019 he began learning screenwriting and wrote his first pilot script (Co-written with Brent Gelsinger). During the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021, unable to consistently work as a martial arts competitor or coach, Jared continued to write. He completed his first 2 feature screenplays as well as several more pilots and short films. And in 2022 Jared began acting in addition to his continued work as a screenwriter.
