Amado DeHoyos is a (now globally-based) actor who "dabbles" in all things film (writing, producing, directing, editing, and sometimes just being a warm, helpful body on set).
Amado has been a staunch supporter of independent film in the Austin community and donated (money, equipment, and time) to a number of small productions to help filmmakers gain skills, credits, and exposure.
Amado comes from a rich and varied background. He attended MIT and Purdue for degrees in Aerospace Engineering and worked as a Test Engineer/Test Director in the early days of SpaceX. An avid traveler, Amado has visited all the corners of the planet (140+ countries so far). He brings a unique experience and problem-solving skills to any production.
