Natasha Nuhanovic

Natasha Nuhanovic is both a writer and director. She was born on April 3, 1984 in Zagreb, Croatia and resides in Montreal, Canada. With her father's side rooted in Bosnia, her mother's in Croatia and Serbia, she spans many of the former Yugoslavia regions. In addition, at age nine (1993), she moved to Germany, and at age fourteen (1998) to Canada. Since, she has lived in several different places. Close the Door (2022) is her first feature length movie. She has also published two books: a poetry collection titled Stray Dog Embassy (2010) and a novel The Boy's Marble (2022).
