Biography

Jon Ecklund has a BFA from the University of Texas and an MFA from Yale. Jon is a volunteer at Manhattan Theatre Source, a non profit arts service and producing organization in New York's West Village. He is also a founding member of Yale Cabaret Hollywood, an organization devoted to promoting artistic collaboration and networking for Yale School of Drama Alumni.

Jon Ecklund hails from Cherryvale, Kansas where he earned his Eagle Scout badge and was a disco roller champion at age 11. After ignoring parental advice to become an accountant, Jon heeded the call to become an actor, performing everywhere from the Ballet Austin to Williamstown; from New York at the Jean Cocteau Rep to L.A. as a psycho boyfriend on The Shield; from countless commercials to a questionable tour of The Little Mermaid that stopped in places like Scranton and Topeka. Jon can sing, pretends to play piano and is proficient in American Sign Language. He has great hands and big feet. Jon is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama.
