Biography

Member of the film academies of EE.UU (AMPAS), Spain, Mexico, and Venezuela. Producer of The shadow of Catire, Grand Prix Best Film Warsaw International Film Festival 2023; La Fortaleza, Official Competition at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2020. He was Executive Producer of The Daughters of April, a film awarded the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival Un Certain Regard. Producer of La Familia, official selection of Cannes Critics' Week, in 2017, awarded Best Film at the Biarritz Film Festival; Desde Allá, winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 2015, and Azul y no tan rosa, awarded Best Ibero-American Film at the 2014 Goya Awards. Producer of more than 20 feature films, his projects have been present in other festivals such as : Cannes, Venice, Berlin, San Sebastian, Toronto, Warsaw, Karlovy Vary, Mar del Plata, Cairo, Taillin, Rotterdam, AFI, NYFF, Chicago, among others.
