Originally from a small town in North Carolina, Marqis journey began on the football field as a collegiate athlete before evolving into a purpose driven career in storytelling. Now based in Los Angeles, he brings raw emotion, vulnerability, and undeniable presence to every performance, both on screen and in the studio.
Marqi followed his passion for acting after relocating to Dallas, Texas on his own following college in Oklahoma. After committing to consistent training and auditioning, he landed his first supporting role in 2022 for the feature film Hoorah 99! starring JaRule, which filmed in Brooklyn, New York. He spent a month in NYC to fully bring the character Alfonzo to life. Since then, he has continued to deepen his craft, expand his reel, and train consistently in Los Angeles.
Outside of acting, Marqi is equally devoted to his music, using both mediums as tools for healing, empowerment, and authentic expression. He openly shares his journey, inspiring others to pursue their truth through creativity.
