Charlotte Geissler is an award-winning, German-American filmmaker working in Berlin, Atlanta, and Chicago. Born in Germany and raised in Chicago, Charlotte is inspired by stories that connect people of all walks of life through shared emotions. Her project "Girls in the Back of the Club" won Best Director at the Berlin Indie Film Festival in 2023 and was a semi-finalist at the New York International Women Film Festival in 2023, her film "Phase 10" won Best Director of a Short Film at the Berlin Kiez Film Festival in 2022. She has been nominated for several other awards and her works are frequently selected in film festivals in worldwide.
