Canaan drives creative strategy and creative execution at Microsoft where he leads global creative teams delivering Microsoft’s flagship AI Tour event series. He recently led generative AI experiences for Mirada Studios on Warner Bros "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" launch, following a groundbreaking tenure at Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video. There, Canaan delivered several 'firsts' for Amazon, bridging the studios' traditional title marketing initiatives and events with emerging tech ecosystems - fusing together immersive storytelling and retail for customers both in-person and on-platform - resulting in headline generating and award winning global franchise extensions of Amazon's top titles including "The Boys", "Gen V", "Fallout", and Eddie Murphy’s "Candy Cane Lane".
For Meta’s high-stakes Quest 2 global launch, they tapped Canaan's creative expertise to direct a live, multi-day, 180-degree, go-to-market product launch campaign event starring William Shatner, Alanis Morissette, Gavin DeGraw and other pop-culture icons.
