She is the writer and director of *Touched* (2024), a modern retelling of the biblical parable of the Woman with the Issue of Blood, which earned the **Best Film by a Black Female Filmmaker Award** at the 2025 IBDFF in Ontario, Canada.
Jessica's dynamic range extends across acting, directing, and production, with credits that include *Drowning* (2024) as Creative Director, *A Love Letter From Heaven* (2023) as both actor and sound operator, and *Texas Red* (2021). Her talent as a performer was recognized with the **Best Actress Award** at the 2024 JXN Film Festival.
In addition to her film work, Jessica has built experience as a Unit Production Manager, Script Supervisor, and Sound/Boom Operator, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the industry. A Milwaukee native now based in Mississippi, she is a devoted mother of five and deeply rooted in her Christian faith, which continues to inspire her storytelling.
