Sean Derry is an Irish actor known for playing the character of Muiredach in The Rock in the Sea. His many talents extend to theatre acting, traditional folk singing and playing Irish musical instruments. He also starred in Game of Thrones and Derry Girls as additional cast and 'The Blue Bus' short documentary which recorded his real life travels.

Sean was raised into Catholicism from an early age and inducted into a church seminary when he was 19 years old. Later being rejected by the priesthood when he was 23 because of a speech impediment. He was therefore not accepted in the eyes of the church. Because of a stammer he has always had to overcome adversary and tribulations in life, eventually coming full circle and starring in a dialogue dependent film role about Irish Monks.
