Maya Szlachetko was born on 31st May, 1995, in Manchester, England, UK. She is of Ukrainian and Italian descent.
Maya attended Leeds University where she earned a degree in Spanish. As well as speaking fluent Spanish, she has a basic understanding of Ukrainian and Italian. After graduating from University, Maya pursued her career in acting. Maya is also an accomplished Ukrainian dancer, having performed in various venues across the UK and Europe with Podilya Ukrainian Dance Ensemble.
