Ryan Smith(CCL)

Writer and Producer Ryan Smith is a 21-year-old Writing for Film, Television, and Emerging Media major at Ithaca College from Mentor, Ohio. Gum is the first short film Ryan has filmed for the school, but only one of thirteen scripts he's written at the college. Smith will be co-creating a thesis feature film currently titled Wheatfield with Crows with his creative partner Melanie Kardos for 2023. Along with that, Ryan is co-writing a short film, titled 404, with fellow Ithaca College student Mya Stengel for the fall of 2022. Smith also will have finished his first feature film script by the end of 2022 and will go on to write his thesis screenplay and thesis television pilot by the time he graduates. After graduating in 2023, Smith hopes to write on a sitcom and create his own film and television projects.
