Shubhangi Gokhale is a highly regarded Indian actress known for her extensive work in Marathi and Hindi theater, television, and film. Born in Khamgaon, Maharashtra, she began her acting journey in theater during her college years in Aurangabad before establishing herself as a versatile performer capable of handling both intense dramatic roles and sharp comedic characters.

She gained significant television prominence with her portrayal of Shyamla in the classic Marathi series Shriyut Gangadhar Tipre and later became a household name across India for her role as Mishri Mausi in the Hindi sitcom Lapataganj. Her television career also includes popular shows such as Kahe Diya Pardes, Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla, Raja Rani Chi Ga Jodi, and Agnihotra.

In cinema, Gokhale has appeared in notable films across different languages, including Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa, Hey Ram, Aga Bai Arrecha!, Bokya Satbande, and Karkhanisanchi Waari. Her recent film work includes projects like Gharat Ganpati and Basta. On stage, she has performed in over 300 shows of the popular play Sakhar Khallela Manus and began her theatrical career with the play Atmakatha.
