A finance graduate, Garewal worked for Baring Asset Management in London before becoming an actor in Shakespeare and contemporary theatre productions. Performed in Scott Rudin's production of "Behind The Beautiful Forevers" at National Theatre and "Wipers" which focused on the untold narrative of Indian soldiers serving during WW1. Other theatre credits include Royal Court, Royal Exchange Manchester, Leicester Curve and Bush Theatre in UK. Garewal has worked in US, UK, Indian and French film/TV projects.
