- Abigail Folger was born on August 11, 1943 in San Francisco, California, USA. She died on August 9, 1969 in Bel Air, California, USA.
- Despite being the heir to the Folgers coffee fortune and having a steady income from inheritance, she was known to live a less than splendorous lifestyle, by choice. She was very devoted to child welfare and the civil rights movement, which she worked tirelessly for and donated her own money to.
- Was a close friend of Sharon Tate and was staying the weekend at Sharon's home in Bel Air, along with her boyfriend Voytek Frykowski and Sharon's ex-fiancé, Jay Sebring, when they were tortured and murdered by the Manson family. Folger briefly escaped the house, but was caught and stabbed to death by Patricia Krenwinkel.
