Biography

Ben Wheeler is an Australian actor who began his professional acting career shortly after graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies. His first major role was as a Stand-In on George Miller's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, where he worked for nearly six months. This opportunity gave him invaluable insight into the workings of a professional film set and allowed him to observe and learn from actors he admires.

In addition to his work on Furiosa, Ben appeared as an extra in several prominent Australian television productions, including Home and Away, Critical Incident, and NCIS: Sydney. These experiences helped him hone his skills as an on-set actor and develop a strong rapport with directors.

Beyond screen acting, Ben is an active performer in theatre. His recent performances at the Pavilion Theatre include the role of Pierce in Donald McDonald's Caravan, as well as roles in Ray Cooney's Funny Money and Abe Burrows' Cactus Flower.

Committed to refining his craft, Ben has participated in numerous acting workshops. These include training with renowned organisations such as NIDA, ATYP, and The Hub Acting Studio, where he completed the 20-Week Emerging Actors Course.
