- Zack Brown was born on July 10, 1949 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. He is a costume designer and production designer, known for La Gioconda (1979), Mourning Becomes Electra (1978) and Great Performances: Dance in America (1976).
- Was nominated for Broadway's 1978 Tony Award as Best Scenic Designer for "The Importance of Being Earnest."
- Received a Drama Desk Award nomination, for his costumes, for the 1977 Broadway production of Molière's "Tartuffe". The same costumes were used in the 1978 television production, part of the Broadway Theatre Archive collection on VHS and DVD.
- 1983 Drama Desk award nominee for his costume designs for the revival of "On Your Toes".
