Mohamed Feki is an independent director, screenwriter, and producer whose committed cinema constantly questions human rights and the intimate relationship between human beings and their humanity.
Named the youngest director in Tunisia at the age of 18, he began tackling powerful and sensitive subjects early on: the relationship between the artist and their work, the Jasmine Revolution, the rise of terrorist groups in Tunisia, the role of women in judicial and scientific spheres, the perspective of Tunisians living abroad, as well as themes of migration and wandering.
At 26, he directed his first feature film, Forever, and his first docu-fiction, Pipo Alone in the World, confirming a mature and deeply humanistic cinematic voice.
His films, including France 1911, El Ghriba, and Stepfather, have received 15 international awards, recognizing the coherence and universal scope of his work.
His experience in Switzerland marked a strategic turning point: it allowed him to build strong ties with the Canton of Vaud and to place his work within an international cultural dynamic.
