Meitar Gelman is an Israeli composer and musician whose work includes film, television and documentary productions. He composed the original score for Soroka (2024), a documentary web series produced for Kan, Israel’s Public Broadcasting Corporation, and has scored award-winning short films including Tshuva (2024), 30 and Trying (2024), Unpleasantly Gal (2024), and A Moment (2025). His work as a composer has included writing and recording for orchestras and choirs.
Gelman graduated with excellence from the Soundtrack Studies program at Sapir Academic College’s School of Audio & Visual Arts in 2025. Before working as a composer, he played bass and double bass as a touring musician with bands, as a session musician, and in theatre productions. He has also performed as a bassist on the Israeli edition of The Masked Singer.
