- Hannah Ignacio is a Filipina-American actor, director, and producer from Chicago, now based in Los Angeles. Since adolescence, she has crafted heartfelt films rooted in identity, family, and grief, themes she continued exploring while attending DePaul University’s BFA Film program.
Her work as a producer has earned a $10K national film grant, won awards from CineYouth, and premiered at the 61st Chicago International Film Festival. As a director, she was named 1 of 20 top recipients of The Artlist Creative Fest. Her latest proof-of-concept short film, Sugar, Sorry - which she wrote, directed, produced, and starred in - premiered at NFFTY and the Oscar®-qualifying LA Shorts International Film Festival.
Based in Hollywood, Hannah is acting in films and music videos, producing narratives, and developing her debut feature, Sugar, Sorry, continuing her focus on engaging storytelling that spotlight women and POC voices.
