- Jodie is a screenwriter, author, actress, editor, event videographer, graphic artist, and social media guru.
She holds an MFA in film from City College of New York, a BFA from California State University, Northridge, and a Certificate from the UCLA Professionals Program in TV Writing. She has a largely uncredited volume of work as a ghost editor and videographer for companies over the years, including sound design, menu design, and editing for numerous Blu-ray/DVD titles such as Ice Age 1, Ice Age 2, Chicken Little, Wedding Singer, and more. Jodie also films and edits medical films and lectures.
In her spare time, Jodie travels, volunteers teaching teen confidence and job skills and is the California Publicity Director and international marketing representative for a teen leadership program.

- Jodie's father, Jim, owned his own Tool & Die Engineering company for 50+ years, a place where Jodie spent many hours of her childhood.
- Jodie volunteers for a Non-Profit organization teaching girls leadership and confidence and has done so for over 20 years.
- Jodie's distant relatives were the first mayors of Galway, Ireland. As their castle is now a public bank, it's unlikely she has any royal titles, however, she holds the novelty titles of Lady of Scotland and Lady of Ireland through nature conservatory fund raising projects.
