Haroun Barazanchi

Haroun Barazanchi is a Set Designer and 3D Modeller with a background in Architectural Design. Born in Baghdad, Iraq, Haroun immigrated to his new home of New Zealand at the age of 8. Living in the diaspora played a significant role in shaping his creative career.
Haroun describes losing his home, and in many ways his world, as leading him to a life spent designing and building new ones.
With regards to prior projects, Haroun has worked across various scales of production (released and pending release). This includes, the Amazon Prime, 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' series, to HBO Max, 'Our Flag Means Death' executive produced by Taika Waititi. Haroun has continued to incorporate state of the art technology, architectural methodology and his underlying passion for creative exploration in his work.
