Lyria Garcia, is a Brazilian American filmmaker and screenwriter known for Waysland (2022), Peter's Plan (2024) and Black Harvest (2023). She holds a bachelor's degree in Film Production. As an artist, her creative style aims to evoke emotion, with a focus on representing diverse communities.
Her award winning film "Waysland," was celebrate at Best Short at the LA Brazilian Film Festival and secured selections at festivals in NY, Atlanta, Toronto, & Vancouver.
