Lena Streitwieser(I)

Lena Streitwieser is a Film student in the Dual BA with Trinity College Dublin and Columbia University ('26). She is a graduate of the Edmund Burke School in Washington, D.C. ('22). She is primarily a director, though also works as a film scorer and has previously served as an actress/screenwriter/producer. Her short film Gravestones premiered at the D.C. Student Film Fest in September of 2021. In 2023, she was awarded Best Director in Student Short Films for her film Unprompted at the Japan International Film Festival, as well as receiving honorable mentions in Best Director for the same film at the Munich New Wave Short Film Festival, and the Tokyo International Film Festival. As of October 2023, her upcoming short film Pennies is in post-production.
