Biography

He was born in Ankara (1982). He graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism (2013). He took screenplay lessons from Gürsel Korat, whom he met at school, theater drama at Portrait Art, text analysis from Yakîn Theater, and art history lessons from Celil Sadik. He started to work as a broadcast production staff in TRT 1. He met Ali Topçu while traveling on trains and shot his first short documentary, Yolcu, in 2019. He founded KISAFT, a platform for watching short films, interpreting and director interviews during the Covid 19 period. He shot Rabbit Sleep and Helix "Variable" in 2022 with the KISAFT team.
