Alexa Lee(IX)

Alexa Lee (formerly Nemitz), grew up in Youngsville, NC which is a small town with one ice cream parlor and two barbershops directly next to each other. She is one of 5 children and grew up very close with her family. When it came time to choose a college, Alexa was drawn to the mountains of Boone, NC. She is an Appalachian State University graduate with a B.A. in Theatre Performance and a minor in American Sign Language. School was never Alexa's thing and majoring in theatre meant most of her homework was reciting Shakespeare and miming her morning routine- these she could do. After college, Alexa felt another calling in addition to acting. She graduated from NC Nail Academy as a Manicurist in 2023 and still uses that skill today. As for performing, she began at 10 years old when her best friend moved away and left her a loner. Her mom putting her into theatre to "channel her dramatics" was one of the best decisions ever for her. Over time, Alexa has been in many shows including Shrek Jr twice (once playing Donkey, once Fiona) and on to more professional roles and film projects, such as A Little Night Music (HART) and Life Sucks (Hendersonville Theatre). She moved to Asheville, NC where she continues to act both on stage and on screen. She met her husband there and is very happy acting and posting on her social medias as if they are her personal video diaries. Some of Alexa's favorite things include playing Webkinz, milkshakes, writing, playing with slime, thrifting, eating cereal and crafting.
