Ian Joy
- Cinematographer
- Colorist
Ian Joy began filmmaking in 2020, shooting action and thriller films, commercials, and music videos. Joy’s attention to detail stems from drawing Michael Bay’s "Transformers" with crayons from the age of 5. Joy fell in love with color from an even younger age. After graduating from Ithaca College in 2024, this level of passion still fuels his mission of actualizing the goals of every artist, brand, and company he encounters with his filmmaking and his eye for heightened cinematography. His most notable works in cinematography include Thaddeus Robertson's thriller, "Diaboli Sanguine," and Braden Becker’s action short, "Green Arrow: Anniversary." In addition, Joy has written and directed several of his own award-winning short films in his early career.
Joy runs his production company, Dream Effect, as well as cinematography operations worldwide.
