Jean-Claude Dib is a Lebanese Creative Director, Visual Director, Filmmaker, and Photographer whose career spans more than three decades across film, television, advertising, music, fashion and visual culture.
Beginning his professional career in the early 1990s within the advertising and production industry, Dib has worked across TV commercials, television, documentaries, music videos, branded content, fashion and editorial photography. His practice has developed at the intersection of moving and still image, with a focus on creating distinctive visual identities rather than simply executing individual productions.
As a director, Jean-Claude has created music videos and visual projects for leading artists and public figures across the region, including a long-running creative collaboration with Lebanese artist Ziad Bourji. His directing work combines cinematic storytelling with a strong emphasis on performance, atmosphere, composition and visual continuity.
Alongside filmmaking, photography has become an increasingly significant part of his practice, encompassing fashion, beauty, portraiture, celebrity and editorial work. His approach to photography is informed by his experience as a director: he works closely with subjects, styling, lighting and art direction to construct images that function as part of a larger visual language.
Jean-Claude's broader creative practice extends into visual consulting and creative direction, where he develops concepts, narratives and visual systems for artists, brands and cultural projects. He is particularly interested in long-term visual identities and collaborations that establish continuity and authorship beyond individual campaigns.
Working across film and photography, Jean-Claude approaches each project as a cohesive visual world, bringing together concept, image, direction and execution with a focus on clarity, character and lasting relevance.
