Jovaun is the Founder & CCO of Tenguu Vision alongside Soulful Minds Media Entertainment; independent film and television production companies based in Jacksonville, Florida, (W.I.F.T.) Women in Film & Television Member & Liaison of the Creative Rights Movement. After retiring from the U.S. military following 20 years of service, he pursued a career in filmmaking, combining leadership, technical expertise, and creative storytelling to support independent productions throughout Northeast Florida. A 4-time Toronto Nollywood International Film Festival (T.N.I.F.F.) nominee and 2-time Toronto Nollywood International Film Festival (T.N.I.F.F.) Official Selection (2026), Jovaun is the Writer and Producer of William Boucher: The Blood Curse and continues to develop original feature films and television projects under the Tenguu Vision banner. Throughout his career, he has worked across multiple production disciplines, including Producer, Director of Photography, Second Unit Director, Stunt Performer, Actor, and mentor to emerging filmmakers. Tenguu Vision has collaborated with numerous independent productions and creative teams, while helping strengthen Jacksonville's growing filmmaking community. His credits include The Creature Beyond the Woods, An Untold Christmas Story, Life of Death, F.R.A.N.K., American Ghetto Super Stars, and Roommates: An Effing Musical, winner of the 2023 Orlando 48 Hour Film Project under Freeman Films. Beyond filmmaking, Jovaun is developing Tenguu Vision into a full-service production and consulting company specializing in film and television production, studio operations, digital marketing, production management, and AI-assisted filmmaking workflows designed to help independent creators produce professional content more efficiently which Includes a Non-Profit organization Community Lumen Foundation.
