- Chirag Thakkar 'Jay' is know across India as an ace Translator who has forayed into script writing recently. He has translated more than 100 books from English to Gujarati and Gujarati to English. He has also written many short stories for which he has been conferred 'Shantsheela Gajjar Smarak Paritoshik' by Gujarati Literary Academy (UK) as the Best Story Writer of 2013. He has also been conferred the Best Translator award by Gujarat Literature Festival in 2017.
Recently he has ventured into script writing. One of his script has been successfully turned into a movie called 'Raaji Always Khush'.
He has pursued Master of Arts in English Literature from Gujarati University, India and Diploma in Mass Communication from Bennet International College, London, UK.
He has settled in Ahmedabad, India with his family and working as full-time script writer, writer and translator since 2013.
