Kira Woods was born in Newcastle, New South Wales and began training professionally in 2018 after receiving a scholarship to a National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) course. She has since appeared in the feature films To the Tooth and Get Free, as well as Nine Network’s Under Investigation.
In 2026, Kira will undertake the One Year Full Time Diploma of Screen Performance at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), continuing to develop a body of work defined by emotional depth, authenticity, and character-driven storytelling.
