Biography

Chima Akpa was born in North London. Chima began acting in school plays during his secondary school years. During this time Chima was introduced to the Almeida Theatre, where he auditioned for their community show 'Shuffle'. After this, Chima stayed within the Almeida community, participating in their workshops, community shows and young companies. Eventually, Chima performed in his very first professional show at the Almeida called ''The Key Workers' Cycle'' receiving rave reviews, Chima was then picked up by his agent, securing guest-star roles in BBC Soaps, indie films and commercials.

Chima's additional training includes National Youth Theatre, Middleweek Newton Academy and Kingdom Drama School.
