Omar Elhanbouly was born in Cairo, Egypt. He holds a master's degree in Film and Television Production from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK. As an independent filmmaker, he has executive-produced and directed several fictional and factual productions for both the big and small screens. Notable projects include Eyelashes (2025) and Celestial (2022).
