Yad Abdulqader is an independent filmmaker and photographer from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. After graduating from university and studying Architecture, Yad became interested in cinema and created his first short film in 2018. Since then, he has been producing short films and short documentaries. His one-minute film 'The Consumer Cycle' won multiple international awards.
