Biography

Yi Zhou is a multimedia artist and filmmaker / producer Artistic Career: Yi Zhou was born in China, raised in Rome, and studied in Paris and London, earning degrees in political science and economics. Zhou got her artistic start in 2002 at the age of 23 with her first feature show at Jérôme de Noirmont gallery. She is a polyglot artist whose video works have been shown at Shanghai Biennale, Venice Biennale, and Sundance Film Festival. In 2011, she relocated to China and founded branded content production company YiZhouStudio in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Entrepreneurial Initiatives: In 2019 Yi Zhou has founded Global Intuition Brand in USA. In 2021 Yi Zhou has launched Into the Sun Entertainment in USA and Into the Sun Films in Italy with an interesting slate of movie and TV productions. Together with HRH Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia, Yi Zhou has founded Royal House of Savoy Inc. in USA as a joint effort to produce TV, film and lifestyle fashion assets around Royal House of Savoy. In 2023, Into the Sun has launched its multiverse and its investment arm under Into the Sun Investment.

Zhou has worked with photographers including Karl Lagerfeld, Patrick Demarchelier, Inez and Vinoodh, Jen-Baptiste Mondino, and Raymond Meier.
