Biography

Sydney Rincón is an American actress, director, production designer, and assistant director. Rincón has worked as a screen actor for several years, debuting in Don't Walk Alone in the Dark (2022) and working in short films and spec productions while attending San Francisco State University. She has appeared in Brain Spiders (2026), Girls Own the Void (2026), Out of Step (2025), The Org (2023), The Informal Spread (2023), Tourist Trap (2022), in Rebel (2023) and History's Greatest Heists (2023-). Rincón studied political science and cinema at SFSU while pursuing acting.

Sensus Mori (2025) is Rincón's undergraduate thesis film in which she was the writer, director, and visionary. Sensus Mori (2025) has screened in 68 festivals across 19 countries. She has also worked in other dept. roles as an assistant director for Dirty Dance Heartbreak (2024) and Sisters Care: Safety First & Sex Second (2024), set dresser for Lowboy Checkout (2024) and Bitch, Get Up (2026).

She first took to the stage in a production of Inherit the Wind (2017) as a freshman in the Academy for the Performing Arts at Huntington Beach High School and appeared in many stage productions, including Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (2019), 12 Angry Jurors (2021), and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime (2020) in which she received a National Youth Arts Award for Outstanding Featured Performed in a Play as Mrs. Shears. In 2021, she received the Actor's Award of Excellence for the APA Theatre graduating class of 2021.

Alongside her filmmaking endeavors, Rincón has been involved in local and national political movements as an advocate, spokesperson, artist, and activist. She has consistently worked with local government, and Congressional representatives of California through her involvement in such organizations as Black Lives Matter, March for Our Lives, Students for Gaza, and the Women's March over more than a decade.
