Wang Tao, also known as Wang Xingyue, is a Chinese actor. He rose to fame with his first leading role in the 2019 film Deep Water, and gained more popularity with the 2023 romantic drama series Scent of Time.

Wang Xingyue is a rising star in the Chinese entertainment industry. He graduated from the Performance Department of Central Academy of Drama and made his debut in 2019 with the anti-drug film Deep Water, where he played the main role of Lu Zihao. He then signed with Huanyu Entertainment, a prominent agency led by producer Yu Zheng. He has appeared in several popular dramas, such as You Complete Me, One and Only, Your Sensibility My Destiny, and Delicacies Destiny. He gained widespread recognition and acclaim for his portrayal of Zhong Xiwu, a mysterious and charismatic perfume maker, in the hit web drama Scent of Time, based on a novel by Qi Yueli. He is also known for his versatile acting skills, handsome appearance, and charming personality. He has won several awards, including the Top Ten Young Actor Award at the 9th Wenhong Awards. He is also a historical drama actor, playing the role of Zhang Zhe, a loyal and brave general, in Story of Kunning Palace.
