Kurt Hamrin was born on 19 November 1934 in Stockholm, Stockholms län, Sweden. He died on 4 February 2024 in Florence, Tuscany, Italy.

World famous Swedish soccer player who, as a member of the Swedish
team, lost to Brazil in the Soccer World Cup final in 1958.

He was the last surviving player from either the Swedish and Brazilian sides who participated in the 1958 World Cup final.
