Jonas Zelinka was born in the year 2000 in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany. He grew up in a small village called Eichenau.
He has been interested in film since he was 10 years old and soon he began to work on his own projects. At the age of 16 he started his first jobs as a filmmaker making music videos, but quickly realized that narrative films and series interested him even more.
At 21 years of age he founded his production company "Jonas Zelinka Filmproduktion" and immediately started working on his first bigger project "Far Away" (2022).
Jonas Zelinka now works as the CEO of his production company, but still takes a lot of jobs as DOP, chief technician/engineer or producer on set or as an editor.
