Trained to Lecoq technique (in the early 90s both in Paris and in London with Philippe Gaulier), Guillaume Tobo started as an actor in both countries where he worked in television and film with Richard Curtis (1999), Ben Hopkins (1994), Mehreen Saigol (1993) and on stage with Ballatum Theatre (1993_95), Martin Charnin (1999), John Wright (2008-2009) and Catherine Mendelsson (1999). Back to France and to theatre, he set up a research unit at the Odeon National Theatre, turned then to directing and co-founded BordCadre theatre company (2003) with French director Cecile Rist. It led him to perform and produce a number of shows - like The false Servant, directed by British director John Wright toured in UK and France both in French and English - a genuine UK/France co-production and collaboration funded by French Institutions and the Arts Council.

Finally he turned to film and production and launched Connectic Studio (2010).

Departure (2015) is his first feature as a producer. Alongside No gods no masters by Éric Cherrière with Ran Entertainment and Logical Pictures (Cinefondation of the Cannes Film Festival 2016), he is producing his first picture as a writer & director - TROC, a comedy starring Loic Corbery, Samir Guesmi, Jean-Luc Bideau (...) - and La traversée - first feature of Patrick Pineau famous for his theatre work in France.
