- Kaden Vasquez is a director, editor, writer, and cinematographer from Wichita Falls, Texas. He is also a Medical Physics PhD Student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Vasquez has been awarded in several regional competitions, most notably at the ACU FilmFest, where he has won "Best Director", "Best Editor", and "Best Picture" three years in a row. Vasquez's recently completed short, "Cookie Logic" (2023), has been accepted into internationally renowned festivals, including the 2024 Waco Independent Film Festival and the 2024 San Antonio Film Festival. Cookie Logic also won "1st Place Student Short" at the Boomtown Film and Music Festival.
Kaden Vasquez is most known publicly for his self-named YouTube channel, where he analyzes works of cinema and the process of filmmaking.
Recently, Vasquez has completed post-production work on the comedy-horror short, Brock (2025), with the team hoping for a promising festival run. He has also completed production as the Director of Cinematography for the short, "The Trapper", which has just recently received its first festival acceptance.
