Biography

Luca Irvin was raised in Encinitas, California by his single mother Joanne. In his youth, Luca was involved in his first musical production, 'Oliver Twist' at the Star Theater in Oceanside, California. At La Costa Canyon High School, Luca played football, sang and played guitar in an alternative rock band, and performed in several musical theater productions.

Luca attended Mira Costa College with plans for a degree in Communications. During that time, he was exposed to a Scene Study Acting class taught by Eric Bishop that provided the spark for him to pursue the arts. In October 2019, he left Communications behind and moved to Los Angeles, California. Luca became a student of scene study, commercial, voice-over, and improv at Shanelle Gray Studios under the mentorship of Taymour Ghazi.

Luca had taken on multiple background roles before landing his first supporting role in the short film 'Deep In The Shallows' before appearing in the lead role in the webisode 'Don't Judge a Book by its Cover' and the short film series "The Downside of Time Travel." Beginning in 2024, Luca had found his most notable role to date as a supporting character in the office drama "mobisode" series 'The Return.' He continues on his acting journey to find new roles.
